Wendy & Dennis' Wedding

Attended Wendy & Dennis’ wedding on Saturday. How I know them? Dennis is Calvin ex-co-worker. I met them few years ago and hang out couple times.

I’m happy that they finally married. They had been together for 10 years.

Breeder Basics

[Articles]

The right way to find a Yorkshire Terrier is to start with the right breeder.

If you are planning on adding a Yorkshire Terrier puppy to your family, you are in a good company. The American Kennel Club routinely lists Yorkies as one f its most-registered breeds. Presumably, you have gathered some information about the breed, like by purchasing this magazines and other book and/or talking to others who have owned Yorkies, and have decided that you like the Yorkie’s size, coloring and personality. You found the breed you want, now you need to find the proper place to get one.

Our first bit of advice: Don’t go to a pet store.
Per stores get their puppies from puppy mills (large-scale breeding operation that breed for quantity without regards to health and temperament) or from “backyard breeders” (inexperienced owners who breed for the wrong reasons, like extra money or the “fun” of it). Puppy mills keep their breeding dogs (and litters) in deplorable conditions. These dogs live in dirty cages, eat poor-quality food and have little human interaction or socialization with other dogs. They are bred over and over again, without concern for health, temperament, pedigree or breed standards. This leads to puppies with health problems, behavioral problems and bad temperaments.

Our second bit of advice: Be sure to find a responsible breeder.
How does one do that and where do you begin? Read on!

Do You Brush Your Teeth Every Night?

[Articles]

43 percent of poll-takers said they don’t.

Brushing before bed always seemed like a no-brainer to us. Skip it, and you’re giving the germs in your mouth time to multiply, especially since the production of bacteria killing saliva decreases when you sleep. All this can lead to cavities and gum disease and many studies suggest that the bacteria responsible for gum disease may also play a role in heart trouble. If that won’t get you brushing, consider this: These nasty little germs emit gases called volatile sulfur compounds, which smell like a porta-potty.

Day # 2 – Deen’s Restaurant

Arrived Labuan around 9:30pm; I just slept through the flight from KLIA to Labuan. I can’t stand it no more and I willing to skip the meal they provided in the plane. Reached home and gave all the gifts which I can carry it up to the room. Well, the weather was too damn hot for me to bear and I just can’t wait for air condition. It takes a while to cool up in my room. Well, it’s not my room any longer since I’m been away for a long while. It’s nice to have my sister to occupy it. I slept pretty early that night after taken my shower. That’s basically my day one.

Woke up at 6am which is 3pm in San Francisco, hungry as hell and checked out my mom if she wakes up to send my youngest sister to school and wanted to join her and look for some food. LOL! I did and so did Calvin. Bought some breakfast home for my grandparents.

Well, I did get ready to go out again since my home have no internet and Calvin need the internet most the time for his work. YES! He needs to work even on his vacation. That’s what I get being with a business man. My mom bought us to this Malay restaurant which I used to hang out when I worked around that area. They have a very good fried noodle and Calvin loves it a lot. Of course with teh tarik and roti canai. Oh… Did I mention I woke Jessica up? LOL! Yes! I did….. It always nice to invite your sister no matter what. Just a polite way. As the quote said “treat others how you want to be treated”!

All I know, this is the only time I can’t spend time with my sister. I’m not sure when my next trip is. Another 3 or 4 years???

2008 USA Swimming Grand Prix Series

Saturday was a great time for me. Well, I was invited to go to 2 events. First are the Bobby Flay food festival and the other one is international swimming contest. I have to decide which I wanted to go. And I realized I don’t always get to see top swimmer especially those world championship and Olympians. Food Festival will always there and I can do it next year whether Bobby Flay still there or not. I’m not a big fan of Bobby at all. If it’s Rachel Ray then it will be different case for me. But Michael Phelps is different. I been cheering him from the TV and looking at him in person? WOW!

I went with 2 of my girl friends, Mary Beth and Elaine and of course our bodyguard Calvin. I knew he would love to meet some top swimmers. It was a fun day for all of us. And I act kinda silly in a way when I saw Michael Phelps. Sorry, I just can’t help it at all. We met a lot of top swimmers but my focus is only Michael. Anyways, I’ll let the photos tell all.
