Peek-A-Boo

Couple months ago I wanted to posts this but never had a time to do so. And I came across this album and I was like….” Hey, I have not written this yet” and here it goes. This is when Cassie was about 6 months. The day she got spayed because we don’t want her first heat to come and we will have to deal with the mess.
I just want to share with you guys how cute she is. Well, every dog is adorable but since she is our first baby between me and Calvin; I want to write everything about it. It just likes being a parent for the first time if you get what I mean. So that day, it removes her cone from her so she can have a break from it and moved freely. And also the cone giving a smelly smell coz of the sweat!
So I went to the patio to clean up the mess and put the boxes away. Oh ya….. And we just move in to your new place. We realized we needed a bigger space for our princess so that she can have more room to run around. And we all love our new crib. Enough space for all of us for now.
As I was cleaning the patio, I saw she sat by the sliding door watching me do my thing. It so adorable seeing her being such a busybody but I love it a lot. I grabbed my camera and start shooting her. Something I want to share with my hubby when he’s at work. And then she started whining about me taking too long cleaning up at the patio. Just to please her since she had her surgery few days ago, she can demand anything she want. But me being just pain in the ass, I asked her to post for me so that I can take photo of her. As usual, she will do the opposite things when she having a bad day. And still, she give the cutest photos for me to enjoy it even thou she drive me crazy most of the time.
Here it goes for you to enjoy it too.

Aren't she curious?

Heads Up!

Uh-oh, it’s hat season again…….
I’m so obsessed with hats recently. I guess the trend is hitting me hard these times.  I love hats period but what make me crazier is because it’s the season. They sell all kinds of hats and it all look so cool. I just want to own all of them but I know I can’t. So, I have to choice what I really need for the season and still look good on me.
I study the magazines really hard and try to figure out which one is worth the money own them. I want something I can wear for a long time and for all season. At least let me wear it for few years. Ya! Ya! I’m sounded cheap but hey who don’t want to save up $$$. Even a little bit makes a lot of different these days. A lot of people losing their jobs and I can’t actually donate it and save a life from hunger. Even a dollar makes a different.
Anyhow, I slipped the magazines over million times. Okay maybe not million times but countless. I finally made up my mind and choose 2 hats that I really want for this season.  I found my style and now the color. Hmm…. Color is the hardest for me coz I always wanted to have more color in my closet. But due to the blackness I have on my closet I have to choice wisely with my hubby’s help.  Honestly speaking, he doesn’t help much but to drive me more nut. But I’m happy in the end with my color coz I matches a lot with my clothes. I just can’t wait to wear it everywhere with me. And now, I’m not worry about the cold coz I have my pretty hat to warm me up.
1) Cable Pom Beanie - $7.80 (Forever 21). I got purple and I believe I can use it for couple years and still look trendy with it

2) Spiral Crochet Beret - $8.80 (Forever 21). Hubby think this look good and I agree on him.

Anyways, I have so much to write but I have some technical problem. Hmm….. Hopefully it will fix soon.
Today, I would love to show you a new recipe that I tried early on these days. Besides shopping, I love to cook. I love to try on new things and find more new taste on food same goes to life. Since it’s a weekend why not I share this recipe with you guys and you can try it at home with your love one. Let me know what you think about it.

Ingredients:
4   corn cobs
2   teaspoons olive oil
2   rashers bacon, cut into thin strips
1   small onion, finely chopped
3   eggs, lightly beaten
2   tablespoons chopped chives
2   tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
¾  cup (60 g/ 2 oz) fresh white breadcrumbs
1/3 cup (80ml / 2 ¾ fl oz) cream

Method:

1)      Preheat the oven to 180 C (350F / Gas 4). Lightly grease four ¾ cup (185ml / 6 fl oz) ramekins. Remove the husks from the corn and, using a coarse grater, grate the corn kernels into a deep bowl-there should be about 1 ½ cups corn flesh and juice.
2)      Heat the oil in a pan and cook the bacon and onion for 3-4 minutes, or until the onion softens. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in the corn, eggs, chives, parsley, breadcrumbs and cream and season well. Spoon into the ramekins
3)      Put the ramekins in a large baking dish. Add enough hot water to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins. Lay foil loosely over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until just set.

My Dior!

Sorry again for not updating my blog. I’m so busy these days. And my time just flies and I’m so exhausted by end of the day. Let me summaries what I been up to recently which made me abandon this blog for awhile. I woke up early to walk my friend’s dog twice a day. Morning and Evening coz she went for a business trip and won’t be around for more than 2 weeks. And I’m doing a house cleaning coz I been waking up early and can’t went to bed after the walk and I just do my stuffs. Besides that, I had a lot of activities coz of the holidays. A lot of shopping to do and party to attends. Good for me coz I had so much good times this year. Loving it!
I know I suppose to show you about how to dress simple but I decided to change my mind because I have something cool to show you guys. I’m so excited to show it. I went to the mall wanted to buy a blusher coz mine is about to finish. While walking around thinking which product I want to get this time making me so hard. The more choices they have the more I go crazy. Believe it or not, I can’t decide when there so much to choice off. And I decided to give Dior a try as I heard a lot of good stuffs about it from my friends.
What best about it, this makeup artist was so generous to do a makeover on me. Hmmm…. Why not? It’s free and I can learn some new trick from them too. It’s like technologies where there always something new going on. Same as make up. At first I told that I’m looking for a blush and wanted them to intro me which one is new and better for me. They know better on which we look good on our skin tone. And I ended up doing a makeover. It was fun and I felt so being pampered.
I’m going to skip the whole process when she did my makeup. She really try to sell me everything coz she put everything on my face. From skin care to make up. LOL! I thought I’m just trying a blush? Oh never mind…. Free right? When she done with my make up that’s when she kept on pushing you to buy everything. Too bad, won’t work on me maybe it will if she know me few years back. I know what I want for sure. What I did is asked her what is the special promotion they have and she was saying buy 3 get the free book and sample product. And I’m cool of buying the 3 product from them and not more. I’m good enough from a blush to something else. I usually just buy the thing I want on that day. You can call me cheap and I don’t care.
Let me go ahead and show you what I got:
1) Dior Bronze Harmonie de Brush - $42.00
Love this one as it really blends well.

And here is a photo of me. I’m trying to show the makeover but the photo can’t really tell. To be honest I don’t really like how she does it. It’s like putting a layer of frosting on my face if you see yourself under the light. Arrgghh………. Like I said earlier, it’s free and that’s what you get.

I Am Changing!

Sorry that I neglected this blog for awhile. But the truth is I’m not!

I been thinking for a while now on changing my blog and also the way I write. That is why you can see I’m no longer Square Box Girl no more. It’s sad that I have to leave behind but everyone has a new goal in life. And changing my blog is my new resolution for year 2010. Hopefully this will last longer.

I’m so excited about this new blog. I can’t wait to write about it. This blog going to be an officially beauty and fashion’s blog on how to look fabulous without spent ton on money. Well, I might talk about some random stuff when I have nothing else to write, I guess. YES! Beauty tips and shopping tips on how to look GLAMOUROUS without hurting our wallet. I’m not a professional on this but I had tried it myself and I did same up some cash. I realized we girl love to buy everything when we in the mall. That’s what happen to me back then and realized my closet is full it up with my shopping spree. When I started packing up to moved to our new nest, I found out I have tons of new clothes that I never wear it before and I realized I had wasting money on things I don’t really need it. And most of my dress; I only wore ONCE! Yes ONCE!

In year 2009, I told myself not to spend on things I don’t need or I might have it at home. In the same times, I still want to look like I’m in the trends. So I picked things that I think it will last for a long time and you can use it for all seasons and its work. I might be wrong but you can be the judge for this. I’ll accept any comments.

Why PetiteBunny? First of all, I’m petite in size. Seriously I had a hard time finding my size in the stores and something I just have to go to children department store you get what I need. Know what? Children department stores are damn so cool. It’s so cute and it made you look cutie too. And Bunny was a stage name for me when I joined a poll dance class years ago. All of us just have to choose a name and I picked up Bunny. I really love Bunny. The name itself is already cute and I always thought I’m cute too. Beside my little dog look like a Bunny too. Don’t believe me? Nah…. Let me show you.

I told you she looked like a bunny. Isn’t she cute? Alright people, it’s time for me to get ready to have a date night with my hubby. Italian cuisine for tonight. Adios people!
