I was home alone for the whole week last week. Calvin was out of town. He went to Las Vegas for the CES show. Well, it’s really different without roommates and all by myself at home. Totally has a lot of privacy and you can do whatever you want. Very quiet which I love it a lot. A lot of my friends asked me about this question. How can I stand Calvin for traveling a lot? To be honest, I really used to it. I can’t be selfish just because I needed someone all by myself but I have to think about his career and the future. I learned a lot being away from each other. The word “trust” had made us stronger. He or me won’t do anything crazy or party when we not around each other. I usually find something to do. Example scrapbook, clean the clutters at home, watch drama, read books and etc. But this time, I spent my entire time watched the Taiwan drama series
Anyhow, Calvin came back with goodies from Vegas. He stayed at Bellagio in the suite and he has the access to the VIP room. Cool right. So, he bought it home to share it with me since I didn’t go with him. No matter what, it made me feel good coz he telling me that he think of me when he’s away.
Yesterday, Calvin, Henry and I went to San Francisco to visit the museum. I know most of you must be wondering why Tuesday when it supposed to be a working day. For me, everyday it’s a holiday till I find a job. 2nd is that, Calvin and Henry is working purposes and I’m just tagging along as usual. I’m the helper when they needed me.
Let’s talk about the visit in the museum. It was interesting in some of the arts. I can’t really take photos of the arts but I took some to share with you guys. One of the security guard caught me in act. What interest me the most is the “Picturing Modernity: The Photography Collection.” As you guys know, I into photography but still in a practice level. Calvin still can’t find a time to teach me to the next level. BUT, I learned a lot yesterday in the photography section. I see things I never sees before. Especially black and white photos. I’m so into Black and White. Most photos that I edit usually Black and White. Not so into color coz I think B&W is more unique in different way. It’s hard to get the perfect lighting and moment of it. I been explore a lot to have a perfect B&W. Still learning and hopefully master it in one day.
It’s really motivating me more into photography world after seeing the art of it. Totally going to invest more on it. Maybe it’s a good thing to have something I love to do besides shopping, don’t you think? Calvin is a professional Photographer and since I’m with him and he totally busy. Really get into it even more just to spent a little time with him by having the same hobbies. He bought me into golfing too and trust me, my swing need a lot of work. And I remember he bought me to play the 9 holes. It was torturing but fun. It’s really a good sport.
Oppps…. Back to the museum. I’m totally out of the track. I’m not an art person. A lot of time, I really have to work hard to understand the meaning for the piece of art. I love exploring new things and it helps me to see the different side of everyone’s world. Anyways, I’m going to stop here and enjoy the photos that I manage to shot. Please don’t mind my blurry and uncool photos. I can only bring my normal digital camera. It’s really sux in quality.

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is a United States division of Swiss candy-maker Lindt & Sprungli. The company was founded by and is named after Italian chocolatier Domingo Ghirardelli, who after working in South America, moved to California. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company was incorporated in 1852, and is the second oldest chocolate company in the United States. This chocolate only can be found in San Francisco.
We walked all the way from fisherman’s wharf to this place. Pretty tiring walking up there but I get to see a lot of small store which I never notice before. It’s really fun walking in a group of people. As usual, Ghirardelli was packed with people and line was never short. But it’s worth the wait to have the taste of the fresh chocolate. I love the Hot Chocolate and I never miss it whenever I’m there. What made it so special about the Hot Chocolate is that, it’s never too sweet for me. Just right! And please don’t miss the ice cream too. It’s really really Yummy!

Later that night, we have a mini celebration for the lady boss since is her birthday. Nothing big but just a little something to get together for a chit chat. Bought her a cake and it tasted really GOOD. You can taste the fresh fruit of it. Not sweet at all…… Sorry guys, I’m not a sweet person.
Pier 39 is a shopping center and popular tourist attraction built on a pier in San Francisco, California. At Pier 39, there are shops, restaurants, a video arcade, street performances, an interpretive center for the Marine Mammal Center, the Aquarium of the Bay, virtual 3D rides, and views of California sea lions hauled out on docks on Pier 39’s marina. The marina is also home to the floating Forbes Island restaurant.
Pier 39 also located close to the Fisherman’s Wharf. About 5 to 10 minutes walk. Fisherman’s Wharf is popular with the seafood. You can get fresh clam chowder and crabs if you don’t might have it with the big crowds. I usually sat by the street while having my good tasty chowder while the sea gills tried to steal my bread. It’s really a good experience I ever had at the pier. Been here a lot of times and still loving it as long as I get good food. What can you says about me, I’m all about the food. One thing about me having a lot of food won’t gain me any weight. I’m still working hard of gaining some weight. Buzz me if you know the tips of gaining weight.
Well, from the pier you can actually see the Alcatraz. Maybe sure you stop at this spot when you come to San Francisco.

This is one of the tourist spot you have to stop and experience the snake road. It’s really interesting on how they designed the road. Lombard Street is an East-West Street in San Francisco, California. It is famous for having a steep, one-block section that consists of tight hairpin turns. It’s well known as the crooked street in the world.
We drove down the crooked street and it was awesome experience. And we looked for parking nearby to have quick shots.
