Inauguration of Barack Obama

Today, Calvin and I woke up early than usual. Both of us just don’t want to miss the big day for Mr. Obama. I was telling Calvin last night about how come we never thought of going there to witness it live. And Calvin replied to me about me can’t walk too far. LOL! It’s true though especially with soooooo many people.

Anyways, watching it on the tele still bring the same feeling as everyone felt. I’m so touched from his speech and witness him to be the First African American as President of the United States of America. Yes, they’re going to be a lot of obstacles to restructure the country but God has his plan as always. Watching the history made bring a lot of hope for each and everyone.
I don’t have to say much as everyone witness this special moment at every corner of the world. I just wanted to say “Congrats to President Barack Obama”!

And get well soon to Senator Kennedy.

Gone

As for who, follow my blog’s world. You should have known the previous blog about my maple trees and the serenity that I have in my home. Finally, the leaves fall to the ground. I’m not sad at all but find an interesting energy that the trees gave in this house. It’s really peaceful and brightens the rooms. It gives more sunlight coming into the house and gives a different energy to us. Sometimes I do feel I’m living in different country. A little change in life made the whole new person in us. And it made me realize, we as a human should always look forward instead of looking back. Everyone have a moment of losing everything or giving up or something that really hurt but there always a moment where we bloom later on in life. It’s the matter of timing.

Complimentary

I was home alone for the whole week last week. Calvin was out of town. He went to Las Vegas for the CES show. Well, it’s really different without roommates and all by myself at home. Totally has a lot of privacy and you can do whatever you want. Very quiet which I love it a lot. A lot of my friends asked me about this question. How can I stand Calvin for traveling a lot? To be honest, I really used to it. I can’t be selfish just because I needed someone all by myself but I have to think about his career and the future. I learned a lot being away from each other. The word “trust” had made us stronger. He or me won’t do anything crazy or party when we not around each other. I usually find something to do. Example scrapbook, clean the clutters at home, watch drama, read books and etc. But this time, I spent my entire time watched the Taiwan drama series

Anyhow, Calvin came back with goodies from Vegas. He stayed at Bellagio in the suite and he has the access to the VIP room. Cool right. So, he bought it home to share it with me since I didn’t go with him. No matter what, it made me feel good coz he telling me that he think of me when he’s away.

Museum of Modern Art

Yesterday, Calvin, Henry and I went to San Francisco to visit the museum. I know most of you must be wondering why Tuesday when it supposed to be a working day. For me, everyday it’s a holiday till I find a job. 2nd is that, Calvin and Henry is working purposes and I’m just tagging along as usual. I’m the helper when they needed me.

Let’s talk about the visit in the museum. It was interesting in some of the arts. I can’t really take photos of the arts but I took some to share with you guys. One of the security guard caught me in act. What interest me the most is the “Picturing Modernity: The Photography Collection.” As you guys know, I into photography but still in a practice level. Calvin still can’t find a time to teach me to the next level. BUT, I learned a lot yesterday in the photography section. I see things I never sees before. Especially black and white photos. I’m so into Black and White. Most photos that I edit usually Black and White. Not so into color coz I think B&W is more unique in different way. It’s hard to get the perfect lighting and moment of it. I been explore a lot to have a perfect B&W. Still learning and hopefully master it in one day.

It’s really motivating me more into photography world after seeing the art of it. Totally going to invest more on it. Maybe it’s a good thing to have something I love to do besides shopping, don’t you think? Calvin is a professional Photographer and since I’m with him and he totally busy. Really get into it even more just to spent a little time with him by having the same hobbies. He bought me into golfing too and trust me, my swing need a lot of work. And I remember he bought me to play the 9 holes. It was torturing but fun. It’s really a good sport.

Oppps…. Back to the museum. I’m totally out of the track. I’m not an art person. A lot of time, I really have to work hard to understand the meaning for the piece of art. I love exploring new things and it helps me to see the different side of everyone’s world. Anyways, I’m going to stop here and enjoy the photos that I manage to shot. Please don’t mind my blurry and uncool photos. I can only bring my normal digital camera. It’s really sux in quality.
