Sweet Tooth

July 20th, Elaine messages me about her having a sweet tooth and wanted a dessert. I’m down for it and decided to go the dessert place near our place. Loved their dessert a lot!

We just talk rubbish as usual but it’s a good way to know your friends better. It something I love to do as my age gets older. Having a cup of coffee made my day.

Metamorphosis Door Hanger

July 18th, one day before the drama begins; me and my crew did a door hanger. Yup! We went door to door to invites the kids on our community. It’s tiring from walking but we did enjoy ourselves in a HOT weather. All we did it’s not for us but to serve God in a way. I never see myself being so committed on something and I see myself in a good direction. I still learning to be a better person but it’s always tough when we created a habit since we were really young.

One thing I’m proud of myself is that, I don’t rely on Calvin as much as I used do. But of course, in time I still need him to help me but I try to minimize the need of him. At least, he gets his own time doing his own thing rather than giving me the attention. I have to admit, we do less stuffs together but we both happy about it. Besides, I get more pamper by him even more. And my puppy always loves to look for her mommy (another attention I got from my baby).

Costumes Making

July 16th, 2 days before the drama started. I and few of my friends were busy preparing stuffs for the drama. I never see myself involving or someone in-charge of it to make it happen. That’s the whole reason why I been busy with my life. Sometimes, I felt bad for Calvin and my little doggie for not giving them the fully attention I suppose to give. But I know its God plan for this all of us. I never forget my love one and always making sure both of them have a wonderful meals and everything is in order. I admit, it’s tough and a lot of things at home are not done. And I see myself learning each day to be a better person as a partner and a mom to my dog. It’s never easy but with the strength that God gave me had reach the limit of expectation that I never see on myself. For us to scarify our weekend or personal time for God is beyond the worth it. We don’t know how many person we gonna touch and bring them to know God. But seeing the children having fun and the smiles, it’s priceless.

Anyhow, on that day, we kinda rush the costumes to be done. Did a lot of shopping too and it’s tiring. We had tons of fun and I LOVED it. What so funny about this photos that you going to witness? It’s about us being crazy due to our on drug called “TIRED”! We bought this wig and we thought about how funny we gonna look especially me as Asian. It’s like “Asian Wannabe White”. You get what I mean? After all, it’s all about FUN. So enjoy what you going to see. Just prepare, I’m damn ugly in here. Arrgghhhh………….. But wanna share it with you guys.

This is for the children ministry at church.

Burrito

July 12th, went to lunch with a group of friends. If you read my previous entry; I stated that I will try to have more wrap then having fajitas. And I had proved it. I ordered the WRAP for my lunch.

Burrito or Taco is a type of food found in Mexican or Tex-Mex cuisine. It consists of a flour tortilla wrapped or folded around a filling. The flour tortilla is usually lightly grilled or steamed, to soften it and make it more pliable. In Mexico, refried beans, Mexican rice, or meat are usually the only fillings and the tortilla is smaller in size. In the United States, however, fillings generally include a combination of ingredients such as Mexican rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, meat, guacamole, cheese and sour cream, and the size varies, with some burritos considerably larger that their Mexican counterparts.

The word burrito literally means “little donkey” in Spanish, coming from burro, which means “donkey”. The name burrito possible derives from the appearance of a rolled up wheat tortilla, which vaguely resembles the ear of its namesake animal, or from bedrolls and packs that donkeys carried.
