Elaine’s Birthday Get Together

This post might be a little late but better than nothing. It’s not that I have not time but somehow, my time got sucked by facebook lately. And when I have the mood to do an entry, I will quickly do my photos and when I’m done, I got either lazy or tired. My mission for this week going to be one entre a day.

We celebrated Elaine’s birthday pretty early due to Chris are going back to Illinois. He doesn’t want to miss his wife’s birthday which is important for every couple. What we did for her birthday was pretty easy. Barbeque but potluck style. It’s a good excuse for a gathering and mingles around especially everyone having a hectic life these days.

What I did I make for her birthday?? Of course authentic Malaysian food! I pre-made satay and chicken wings. All they need to do is grill it on the spot. I marinade it over night as it taste better. And I used a pre-made peanut sauce for it coz I never try to make it from scratch. And this going to be my next mission in my kitchen. I still owe Elaine a cheese stick that I said I’m going to make it for her. It’s my mommy recipe. From mom kitchen to mine. He he he……..

Anyhow….. enjoy the photos. It’s mid-night here right now and my eye just wanna shut and I’m hungry. Going to make my tummy happy and end to bed. Nite nite everyone!
